Stamp the Milton with Poinsettia image with black ink.
Option 1 (intermediate method, gives a more brown, less orangey look): Add a base layer of colour to the head using the Tan pen. Add shading around the edge of the image using the Cinnamon pen. Add more shading just at the very edges with the Walnut pen. Go over the overlap between these colours using the Tan pen, to blend them all together. If desired, add a ‘glaze’ of Apricot pen over the whole of the head, to give it a more orangey complexion. Repeat to colour the body.
Option 2 (easier method). Colour the poinsettia with Berry Red. Add shading with Burgundy. Go over the overlap with Berry Red to blend together. Use Gold for the flower centre. Repeat to colour the scarf. Colour the leaves with Lime Green/Forest Green. Use Blush and Dusky Rose for the ear.
Colour around Milton using Ivory. Add extra shading by his feet with Blush/Berry Red.
Layer image onto red card. Add chalk to the corners.
Cut out two holly shapes from green card. Edge with Forest Green pen.
Decorate a base card with Milton Christmas paper and red card as shown. Attach image with sticky fixers. Tie a knot in some ribbon or tulle and attach. Add holly on top and three beads. (adhesive dots were used to attach all of these). Add glitter highlights, to finish.
